Live Theatre

Our convenor for theatre events receives advance publicity for musical theatre bookings from Ticketmaster and Ticketek and assesses them for our members’ enjoyment. Advance tentative bookings are made in excess of 20 which usually gets us the concession rates.

Over several years we have seem some wonderful productions & visited city theatres – The State Theatre, Her Majesty’s, The Princess, and The Regent, and suburban theatres – The Besen (Burwood), Whitehorse (Nunawading), The Athenaeum (Lilydale),The Alexandra (Clayton) and the Surrey Music Cafe (Box Hill.). We have also attended comedies and musicals at the Whitehorse Theatre.
